Wordful Wednesday!

I am using this forum...Wordful Wednesday... to educate.
Friends...family... Countrymen... I beg of you... nay... plead with you to
AHEM...
TURN OFF YOUR WORD VERIFICATION
IF YOU WANT ME TO COMMENT ON YOUR BLOG.

PLEASE... FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY... DO THIS ONE THING...For me... for your fellow bloggers.

I am curious as to what you think might happen if you turned it off?

Educate me... what happens?

All I know is... there is an awful lot of clicking, and typing, and clicking and mouse moving, and in the end it takes me 2 minutes to comment on your blog... and since I only allow myself 1/2 hour for blog commenting and surfing a day... that kinda eats into the other comment time I have to do!

So please... go into your settings, and click on "embed" comment into your post, and TURN OFF your word verification...

I thank you in advance.

I really do love you!

And now... back to our regularly scheduled Wordful Wed.

    1/2 hour a day!?! Wow, you ARE a better woman than me! I don't embed... but I don't use word veri either. I agree BTW. Just a lot of nonsense.

    I did, then I was hit with tons of spam comments and had to go through all my posts to delete them!!! Sorry, but not turning it off.... I'll catch-ya on facebook:)!

    I agree....I've come across some who have the word verification and then on top of that...they also have 'comment is published but will not be posted until approval'...well, if they have verification then, why approval?

    All is a lot of nonsense if you ask me. AND it's so simple to just go in and delete a comment while you're logged in...if you don't like the comment. Geez.

    My Wordful is now posted....it's all about fantasies of fireflies and fairies today. Come join me? Have a super duper Wednesday!!!

    Woohoooo I have never had that on mine!!! And half the time on the blogs I go to I type the wrong letters in there because in my mind they should be rearranged into an actual word!!!

    bloggers seem to freak out if they get spam. On my main blog I have gotten two spams. On my photo blog I got about 5 from one person and they put them on old posts that were already off my main page. I saw them in email. I just deleted them....no biggy.

    Get rid of WV!!!

    the word verification was turned on when i started the blog. i didn't really think it was that big of an issue to most people, but i can see how it would be irritating. thanks for the heads up.

    1/2 an hour per day....wow! I HATE WORD VERIFICATION! It annoys the crap out of me but honestly I think a lot of people don't know they "can" turn it off and then don't know "how"! Ugh....I hate it! I don't have time for all of that especially if it doesn't show up or you apparently type it in wrong....did I mention I hate it! I love the other picture though!
